Growing up in a quiet town on the eastern shore of Maryland, I always dreamed of travel and new places. So after studying English literature and photography for four years in Tennessee, I spent a year teaching and photographing in China. Hungry for more, I returned to China a year later for several months, and then spent several months in Japan exploring and photographing the colorful streets.
